Cornerstone Junior Kindergarten

Spring break is coming. Our class will be closed for two weeks this month. We are now learning about numbers. We are counting many things like monkeys, ducks, etc. We are learning what each number looks like, what their names are, and matching them to an amount of objects. Soon we will learn what animals live in or near ponds. After that we will learn how Jesus saves us from our sins. Have a great Spring Break!

We at Junior Kindergarten have been having a lot of fun this school year. The children enjoy singing and acting. As a result of this I have seen a lot of concerts. After Christmas vacation two new friends joined us and we also received a new teacher. Mrs. Susan is working one on one with a child in our class. Mrs. Susan comes to us with many years of experience working in preschools.

I am looking forward to meeting new students coming to Cornerstone Junior Kindergarten for the first time and seeing the returning students. Our first day of class will be Sept. 7, it will be a one hour class from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m.  Sept. 8 will also be a one hour class. Mon. Sept. 12 will be a regular class from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. From that time on class will be Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9-11:30. See you on Wednesday.
